There's always something...

I was suspended from my job tonight because of a stupid, unprofessional comment I made in my personal sales journal, which included profanity.  I agree disciplinary action is appropriate, but not full-blown suspension.  After I got kicked out of the store tonight in the middle of my shift, I told my father in law, since he is my primary mentor for all things familial, financial, and spiritual.  After he gave me the lecture of a lifetime, which I needed, I went back to the store to apologize and try to get my job back.  The manager said it wasn't in her hands anymore and sent me on my way.  I just found out a few minutes ago that my father in law called the store to ask her input on the situation and she refused to give any information regarding my suspension.  Turns out if I'm not given my job back then the company is in legal trouble.  Pray for me.
